The Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) – Long transforms the Akrapovič Slip-On Line for the BMW M3 and BMW M4 into the complete Evolution exhaust system.

Designed specifically for the BMW S58 twin-turbo inline-six engine, this titanium centre section improves exhaust flow, reduces weight and unlocks a deeper, richer and more powerful exhaust note. It is the ideal upgrade for drivers who already have the Akrapovič Slip-On Line and want a more pronounced sound and the full performance potential of the Akrapovič exhaust system.

High-grade titanium construction

The complete link pipe set is manufactured from high-grade titanium. Compared with the original BMW centre exhaust section, the Akrapovič system is 8.4 kg lighter, representing a weight reduction of approximately 62.7%.

A specially developed resonator is integrated into the centre section. This creates a deep and sporty exhaust character while helping to prevent unwanted resonance and drone inside the cabin.

Under acceleration, the Evolution system delivers a significantly more intense version of the characteristic BMW S58 straight-six sound, without making the car unnecessarily uncomfortable during normal driving.

Akrapovič-tested performance

When combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line, Akrapovič recorded the following performance gains on its dyno:

• Power increase: +17.7 kW / +24.1 hp at 6,650 rpm
• Torque increase: +25.4 Nm at 6,650 rpm
• Weight reduction: 8.4 kg / 62.7% compared with the stock centre section

These results were measured on a BMW M4 Competition with OPF/GPF, comparing the complete Akrapovič exhaust configuration with the standard factory exhaust system.

Deeper sound without unwanted drone

The Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe produces a deeper, fuller and more aggressive exhaust note than the Slip-On Line alone. The sound becomes increasingly intense as engine speed rises, bringing out the pure character of the turbocharged BMW six-cylinder engine.

The integrated central resonator keeps the sound controlled and refined at constant speeds, while allowing the exhaust to become considerably more vocal during acceleration.

The difference between the open and closed exhaust valve positions remains clearly noticeable, allowing the character of the exhaust to be adjusted depending on the driving situation.

Important installation information

The Evolution Link Pipe Set is designed to be installed together with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium), but can also be installed with the OEM BMW Muffler. The Slip-On rear silencer and tailpipe set are not included and must be ordered separately.

Akrapovič specifies an estimated installation time of approximately 90 minutes. Professional installation and ECU calibration for models equipped with OPF.
